Peewee CC Crusaders start 2016 off with a W
The wait is over and the regular season has started for the Peewee CC boys.
The boys have been working extremely hard over the last 4 weeks making sure that they are ready for the season. With 2 tournaments under their belts and countless hours of preparation logged, the wait was finally over. The season started last evening in Lindsay with the Crusaders taking on the Muskies.
The boys were certainly nervous and wanted to get the first game jitters out of their systems. The game was fast paced and it was easy to see that both teams were ready to go. The game was back and forth on the scoreboard but in the end the Crusaders prevailed winning 4-3, starting the season off on the right foot.
The next game for the PW CC boys is next Tuesday October 11th in Newcastle to face the Stars. The first home game is Saturday October 15th against the Manvers Mustangs at Iroquois Park starting at 1:30.
