2021-2022 Pre-Registration
Submitted By Owen Sonnenschein on Sunday, April 18, 2021
Please use the link below to Pre-Register with the Durham Crusaders.

Every player will be asked to use the Hockey Canada Registry to finalize and pay for their registration. Unfortunately due to an HCR software upgrade this will not be available until sometime in the summer.

Please note that Pre-Registration does not guarantee a space on a roster. Registrations will be approved once all payments are complete and team players are allocated based on space availability. Registrations are prioritized based on date and time they have been received.

For Rep teams the player must reside in Whitby or have an NRP passport provided to them from their home centre. All try-outs due to Covid will take place in the Fall.

Q: If I Pre-Register a player is that considered a firm commitment?

A: No, until payments are complete there is no firm commitment, however we are basing our teams count and the season based on these registrations. If you are not serious about playing with the Crusaders, do not register.

Q: Can my player Try-Out at two associations at the same time?

A: No, since try-outs will be held in the fall there is a high probability rep try-outs for all organizations will be held at the same time. You MUST be registered with the association you are trying out for and OMHA rules dictate that you can only be registered at one association at a time. We suggest committing to the organization you want to try out for.

Q: Can an NRP be used for an AE designated team

A: No, NRP players cannot be considered for AE teams

Q: Can I place my player on the team of my choice in LL?

A: No, players are assigned to teams based on balanced play. It is the board that has the final say on which player is assigned to a particular team. We will however, where appropriate, consider requests from parents.
