Registration News & Updates

The Durham Crusaders along with all other organizations have been informed by both Whitby and Oshawa that there will be a 5% increase in ice fees for next season. Also the OMHA has informed us that Insurance rates will also be increased for next season. As the Durham Crusaders operates as a Non-Profit and is run 100% by volunteers these increases will need to be reflected in our registration rates for Tyke up to Midget.

The table below lists the registration cost for each division. Team Fee rate card and payment schedule can be found further down the page.

All returning member Durham Crusader registrations will be processed directly online through the Hockey Canada website.

Here are some of the features that are available:

  • Registration payments can be paid using your Credit Card
  • Team Fees if applicable to your division can be paid using your credit card and will be automatically charged based on a pre-set payment schedule (see below)
  • Receipts can be printed from the registration site any time you require them, no need to wait for the league to distribute them
  • You can update portions of your personal profile (e.g. email address, phone number)

Each division will be limited in the system to accept a pre-set amount of players.  The number of teams we are able to build is limited by the amount of ice time we receive.

FIRST TIME USER TO ONLINE REGISTRATION


Click this button if you are new to hockey, and this is your first time playing with a team registered with Hockey Canada. A copy of the players Birth Certificate MUST be provided. 



Respect In Sport Parent Course!
Respect in Sport


If you are new to hockey you MUST complete the Respect In Sport mandatory course through Hockey Canada. Below is the link to complete this course. You must complete the course and have it linked to your players Hockey Canada profile before October 1st or your player will be removed from the ice until the course is complete.

FAMILY ACCOUNT SET UP

  1. As a first time user to the online registration website, you need to create an account to register players. This account is a “family” account; you only need ONE account to register multiple family members.

 

To create an account, you would click on the “CLICK HERE TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT” link.


1. Select preferred language and read the provided information and agree to terms.

2. The next step is to provide some account information. This includes name, address, and contact information. This is personal information of the account holder. THIS IS NOT THE INFORMATION OF THE PLAYER. Once the account is created, the user is brought to the main home page where they can see their shopping cart and previous registrations, access account options and register a player.

Registration Refund Request Policy

·         Refunds will be granted based on the date when the Refund Request is submitted to the Registrar.

·         Refunds will be processed monthly.

·         Refunds related to injuries/illnesses must be requested to the Registrar, and must be submitted within 30-days of the date of the injury.  A copy of the doctor’s note must be provided to the Durham Crusaders VP of Operations (Attn: crusadersvpoperations@gmail.com), before the refund can be issued. 

Representative and House League Refund Structure

• Up to August 31 (If Jersey and socks have already been ordered): $500.00

• Up to September 30: $400.00

• Up to October 31: $300.00

• Up to November 30: $200.00

 

All refunds will follow this structure, regardless of registration date.

No refunds will be granted after November 30 2018.

 

Representative and House League Team Fees Refund Policy

• Team fees are collected at the beginning of September, October and November. Those fees already collected the prior month of the refund request will not be refunded.

NOTE: The structure includes a $40 administration fee on all refunds.
