Registration News & Updates 2021 - 2022 Season

At this time we are assuming that hockey operations will be back to normal, however this may change at any time due to Covid restrictions and protocols.

All returning member Durham Crusader registrations will be processed directly online through the Hockey Canada website.

Here are some of the features that are available:

  • Registration payments can be paid using your Credit Card
  • Receipts can be printed from the registration site any time you require them, no need to wait for the league to distribute them
  • You can update portions of your personal profile (e.g. email address, phone number)

Each division will be limited in the system to accept a pre-set amount of players.  The number of teams we are able to build is limited by the amount of ice time we receive.

Registering and playing for the Durham Crusaders is a privilege, not a right. Requests will be accommodated where possible.  

For anyone wishing to pay by any other means than Credit Card, please send an email to [email protected],[email protected] to make arrangements.

Choose this option if you played with a Hockey organization other than the Durham Crusaders last season.

Select this option if the division you would like to join is currently full. Requests will be prioritized on the date and time they were received. Please note that Atom and Bantam numbers have reached their maximum (08-25-2020) we cannot guarantee a spot on a team if you enter the wait list at this time.



Click this button if you are new to hockey, and this is your first time playing with a team registered with Hockey Canada. A copy of the players Birth Certificate MUST be provided. The Association you are joining is "Durham"


  1. As a first time user to the online registration website, you need to create an account to register players. This account is a “family” account; you only need ONE account to register multiple family members.


To create an account, you would click on the “CLICK HERE TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT” link. 

1. Select preferred language and read the provided information and agree to terms.

2. The next step is to provide some account information. This includes name, address, and contact information. This is personal information of the account holder. THIS IS NOT THE INFORMATION OF THE PLAYER. Once the account is created, the user is brought to the main home page where they can see their shopping cart and previous registrations, access account options and register a player.

Respect In Sport Parent Course!

If you are new to hockey you MUST complete the Respect In Sport mandatory course through Hockey Canada. 

Below is the link to complete this course. You must complete the course and have it linked to your players Hockey Canada profile before October 1st or your player will be removed from the ice until the course is complete.

Please make sure that the registration process is complete prior to completing the course.


Registration Refund Request Policy

1. Refunds will be granted based on the date when the Refund Request is submitted to the Registrar.

2. Refunds will be processed monthly.

3. Refunds related to injuries/illnesses must be requested to the Registrar, and must be submitted within 30-days of the date of the injury.  A copy of the doctor’s note must be provided to the Durham Crusaders VP of Operations (Attn: [email protected]), before the refund can be issued.  

Representative and House League Refund Structure

• Up to September 25: 90% of registration fee

• After September 25:  Unfortunately we won't be able to offer refunds after this date due to ice and jersey commitments that will have been made.  These commitments are made based off paid registrations on September 15th.

All refunds will follow this structure, regardless of registration date.

No refunds will be granted after September 25th 2021.
