Bantam Green Norwood Champions
This past weekend, the Bantam Green team traveled up to Norwood and took on some of the top LL and House League teams from Barrie, Woodville and Shallow Lake.
The team got off to a good start by defeating Barrie 7-3 and followed that one up with a 5-3, hard fought victory over Shallow Lake. On day two, the boys kept rolling and defeated a local opponent in Woodville 5-0. This victory secured our boys 1st seed for the playoffs and took the team straight to the championship game. In the final, the team was battle tested and ready to take on a familiar opponent in Shallow Lake. The boys were ready for this one and would not be denied, defeating their opponent 5-0 to capture the championship trophy.
The coaching staff and families could not be any prouder of the boys as they gave everything they had this weekend.
