Congratulations to Durham Crusaders Peewee Green for finishing their playoff pool with four wins and no losses to qualify for the Tri-County Peewee LL “A” Championship. Crusaders Peewee Green started the playoffs against Brock Wild in Sunderland on Saturday, February 2. With a full team effort, Peewee Green prevailed with a 6-1 win. The rematch was on Friday, February 8 at Iroquois Park. This was a nail biter with lots of back and forth play but with minutes to go, Peewee Green scored to win the game 4-3. On Tuesday, February 19 in Lindsay, Peewee Green took on Lindsay White and played a solid game to win 7-4. The rematch was on Saturday, February 23 at Legends and again, another solid, full team effort led Peewee Green to play a stifling offensive and defensive game vs Lindsay White, 7-2. Peewee Green will now play the Kawartha Coyotes in the Finals. Let’s Go Crusaders!!!
