Bottle Drive
Submitted By Janet Harrison on Tuesday, September 10, 2019
The boys worked hard on Saturday September 7 sorting and counting bottles and cans.

The team was up bright and early collecting the bottles and cans in their neighborhoods. We met at the Rapala parking lot in Oshawa the boys got down and dirty (and smelly) sorting all the cans and bottles. Once organized they loaded them in to volunteers trucks for refund. The boys made a total of $918.00 with money still trickling in. At 10 cents per bottle and can they touched 9180 bottles and cans not bad for a mornings work! So proud of our team coming together and working for their hockey season.

Thank you to the truck volunteers driving the bottles to the depot and thank you to Rapala for letting us use their parking lot for the sorting
