Millbrook Halloween Haunt Defending Champions!!
The Durham Crusaders U11LL team rolled into the Millbrook Halloween Haunt tournament this weekend where they finished second in their pool of round-robin play with a record of 1-1-1.
Sunday morning, the Crusaders showed up determined to hoist the championship for a second season in a row. Forechecking and puck possession were the pinnacle of their game as the Crusaders filled the net against the Manvers Mustangs with a 6-1 victory. During the championship final, the Crusaders dug deep against the hometown heroes, Millbrook Stars. Capping off a nailbiter with a 5-3 victory, the Crusaders look poised for a successful season! Way to go Crusaders!!
